Planning an event with the epicMeets app on mobile.

PRO TIP: Plan for a meet/workshop with epicMeets at least a few days or even some weeks in advance

Create the Meet/Workshop:

  1. Login into the epicMeets app on your mobile device.
  2. On the main page, click Create on the bottom navigation bar.

  3. With the Beta license, you can copy existing epicMeets templates and make edits to the template structure, allocate time to steps, and use wordings in the template. You can also build a meeting and workshop template from scratch. You can find more information about editing in separate editing template instructions.  These features will be reserved for the Pro-license after our Beta phase.
  4. Search the template gallery for a suitable meeting or workshop template that fits your needs.
  5. Some templates display the epics logo. epics logo
    These templates are designed for our epics, the visual working tools. However, the template can be used without epics, so make sure you have other visual tools available, such as postcards, toys, or drawing tools. 
  6. The templates are grouped like this.

  7. Define the Number of participants that will affect the total duration of the event.
  8. Schedule the event by clicking "Schedule". Find the right time.
  9. Next, click "Add participants" and enter the participants' emails, or skip this step by clicking "Create meet." Adding participants automatically creates a calendar reservation file for them to download.
  10. Finalize by clicking "Create meet".
  11. In the invitation, you can include pre-tasks for participants, such as reviewing background materials (by inserting links) and short texts to ensure everyone is prepared for the meeting.
