Here are instructions for editing templates in the epicMeets app desktop view. You can also edit it in mobile view, but we recommend editing it on the desktop.
EDITING TEMPLATES
You can edit any template in the template gallery, with some limitations: You can edit and save your personal and organizational templates. However, you can only make copies of epicMeets templates and save them in your personal or organization's template gallery.
You can edit the templates like this
You can modify the existing templates in the "Edit Template" view. Remember that you can only edit your own (or your organization's) templates. If you wish to edit an epicMeets template, first make a copy of it.
Editing your templates
You can edit and update existing templates, and when you are done and have published one, it will replace the current template of the same name. To keep the original template, make a copy and edit the duplicate as desired.
After choosing a template to edit or copy, go to "Edit template" . Here, you can choose to edit or copy a template in the same way.
If the template is in your personal template gallery or the organization template gallery and you have been given the right to edit it, you can edit it. If you do not have editing rights for a template, you can make copies of any templates and edit them as you like.
When in edit mode, the blinking "Edit Mode" button indicates that you are currently in editing mode. Any edits you make are automatically saved, and whenever you continue editing, you will have the latest version.
Edit template name
The template name can also be edited. If you create a template with a name that already exists in the template gallery where you publish it, two templates with the same name but different time stamps will appear. The title can be a maximum of 60 characters.
